1. About the Service

QuizStop (the "Service," "we," "our," or "us") is a web and mobile platform that allows teachers and parents to create educational content using a questions/answers model with their own content, and sometimes link to YouTube® and TikTok® videos. Registration and login are completely free, and all saved videos remain accessible to watch at no cost.

Our optional subscription plans unlock advanced AI-powered features for question/answer creation, speech recognition, and automated evaluation. The videos themselves are streamed directly from YouTube's and TikTok's servers using the official embed players; we do not host, copy, or distribute them.

By viewing videos through the Service you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and the TikTok Terms of Service.

2. Free vs Pro Features

Always Free:

• Account registration and login
• Watching all saved videos (YouTube and TikTok, unlimited)
• Basic lesson creation and sharing
• Access on web, Android & iOS apps

Pro Subscription Features:

• Advanced AI-powered question/answer evaluation (usage capped as credits)
• Enhanced speech recognition and text-to-speech
• Advanced lesson creation tools

3. Your Account

• You must create an account to access most features.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.

4. User Content & Rights

"User Content" means any images, questions, answers, comments, recorded audio, video URLs (YouTube, TikTok), or other material you upload or save.

• You represent and warrant that you own, or have permission to use, all User Content and that it does not infringe any third‑party rights.
• You retain ownership of your User Content but grant us a worldwide, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free licence to store, process, and display it solely to operate the Service.

5. Content Guidelines

• All uploaded images and content will be reviewed and may be removed if inappropriate.
• Shared content reported by others will be checked and removed if violations are found.
• Only use images/content that you freely own or have rights to use.
• Do not upload unlawful, harmful, or objectionable content.

6. Reporting & Support

Users may report inappropriate content or seek assistance:

• Report videos: Use the 3-dot menu next to video titles in the video list.
• Report questions: Use the Report button at the bottom right when viewing a question.
• Get help: Access the floating help button in Settings.

All reports and help requests require selecting a reason and optional notes. You will receive email confirmation and direct contact from our support team to resolve issues.

7. Third‑Party Videos

Videos are supplied by YouTube® and TikTok® and remain free to watch for all users regardless of subscription status. If a video is removed, geo‑blocked, or made private on the respective platform, it will no longer be viewable through the Service. We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of any third‑party content.

8. Prohibited Conduct

• Do not download, copy, or capture any portion of a video from YouTube or TikTok.
• Do not hide, block, or modify platform advertising, branding, or player controls.
• Do not upload content that is unlawful, harmful to children, or otherwise objectionable.
• Do not attempt to circumvent our security features.

9. Copyright Policy (DMCA)

QuizStop honours the safe‑harbour provisions of 17 U.S.C. §512. If you believe that material accessible through the Service infringes your copyright, please send a notice containing all information required by §512(c)(3) to our Designated Agent:

We will promptly remove or disable access to the material and, where appropriate, terminate repeat infringers.

10. Data Retention & Deletion

You may delete your User Content or your entire account at any time via account settings or by following the instructions at web.quizstop.ai/data‑deletion. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Metadata retrieved from video APIs (e.g., video title, thumbnail URL) is cached for performance but refreshed or deleted within 30 days in accordance with platform developer policies.

11. Fees & Payment

Registration, login, and watching videos are completely free. Optional subscription fees (purchased through app stores) cover advanced AI-powered features for question/answer evaluation, speech recognition, and enhanced lesson creation tools—not access to the underlying videos, which remain free for all users. All subscription fees are non‑refundable except where required by law.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Service or any third‑party content.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuizStop and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from or related to your use of the Service.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless QuizStop, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your User Content or your violation of these Terms.

15. Changes to the Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or in‑app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
